Our laboratory is interested in how cells adopt and maintain their orientation within
a three-dimensional tissue. We focus on the so-called planar cell polarity pathway
(in short PCP).  PCP is a highly conserved pathway that polarizes cells in the plane
of a tissue and equips cells with a defined orientation.
